Save Paper, Print Digital Files

I have saved tons of paper by installing a free digital printer called Bullzip (www.bullzip.com).  There are several times when I need to print something off the web to refer to later - articles I want to keep, documents I have been emailed or a receipt when shopping on the web.  Instead of printing these items on paper and filing them, I installed Bullzip which then becomes a printer option when you go to print.  When you select it and hit print, it will open up a dialog box for you to select on your computer where you want to save the document and what you want to name it.  It then creates a pdf of the item.   I decided to make this my default printer so that if I think I want to print a hard copy, I have to concsiously make the choice to do so.  I also get all of my bank statements and other bills electronically so this is a good way to keep a copy of all of them on my harddrive so they don't get lost, without having to print them out or have the companies mail me a hard copy.  I think all of the companies I pay or bank with have an option to receive electronic bills or no bills, so make sure you have done this too.

Hope this helps you save some trees! :)
