Feel great knowing that by using Alana Couch Photography, you are supporting the protection and conservation of the environment. We are extremely committed to being as environmentally conscious as possible and have listed just a few of our many green practices:

- We have incorporated a recycled ‘look’ into our branding so that all packaging/presentation can have the least impact possible

- We use an on-site compost for much of our recycling needs and every last scrap of paper is recycled
All paper/packaging used in our office (including the toilet paper!) is recycled

- Whenever possible, we use suppliers/products that are local and/or environmentally conscious that provide recycled/low-impact options

- We practice water, waste and energy conservation

- We sell or give away unwanted camera equipment

- We return the envelopes and plastic casings to our lab that we receive our photos in, for reuse
Whenever possible we turn off and unplug appliances and equipment when not in use

- During the day, we use only natural window light

- At photo sessions and wedding we utilize only natural or existing light, using flash only when absolutely necessary

- We use a residential studio to prevent additional energy usage and to reduce effects from daily transportation
