Cindy Brown is an award-winning photojournalist with more than 25 years experience in the field of photojournalism.

She has worked at major newspapers including the St. Petersburg Times and the Indianapolis Star. Her list of international awards includes Pictures of the Year International, the Southern Short Course, Wedding Photojournalist Association, the Atlanta Photojournalism Seminar and the Women in Photojournalism Conference.

Her engaging people skills were honed while she was Dr. Cindy Brown, professor of photojournalism at the University of Southern Mississippi (Hattiesburg), Florida Southern (Lakeland) and St.-Mary-of the-Woods College (Indiana).

Now, with her Masters of Divinity from the Candler School of Theology at Emory University in Atlanta, Cindy uses her life experiences as an Atlanta wedding photojournalist.

She combines her interest in photography and spirituality by facilitating workshops exploring the intersection of the two disciplines.

When she’s not behind the camera, Cindy can be found playing with her dogs, agitating for social change, enjoying the outdoors, perfecting her wedding album design, working on personal documentary projects and on the road to Mississippi and California to visit her three beautiful grandsons.
